R.I.P. George Carlin

may this legend rest in peace.

"Comedian George Carlin has died from heart failure. The man who made famous the "seven words you can never say on television" passed away at 5:55 p.m. Sunday at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica, his longtime publicist said. He was 71.

Carlin, who has had several heart attacks and a history of cardiac issues, went into the hospital this afternoon after complaining of heart problems."
one of the greatest comedians of all time. watch the '10 commandments' monologue from "complaints and grievances"...

ya heard me?

what i already knew...

so i was talkin to Alaska (Tim Baker from Hangar 18 and Atoms Family) on Philaflava and was able to ask him what were his thoughts on Vast Aire and his career... he basically answered me the way i expected him to. read:
ME: what're your honest to god thoughts about Vast Aire?
ALASKA: i think vast had the potential to be great but he let his ego get in the way and alienate anyone who cared about him or could have helped his career, surrounded himself with yesmen. he hasnt been near the mc he could have been since look ma no hands which had some real bright points. im dissapointed with the path he took. i can say this now because im semi retired/on sabbatical which i also havent told anyone.
Alaska basically confirmed what alotta heads basically knew about V. it wasn't any big surprise, but what was a surprise was that he announced he was retired... hopefully he still keeps a hand in hip-hop. on another obviously related note...
